Heathrow

The biggest airport in London and still the busiest in Europe. Heathrow is the airport you will most likely have to venture out if you are going to any destination that is not served by Ryanair. It has a lot of shops and restaurants, but all the terminals are wildly different, so let’s get to it!

Piccadilly line is definitely the best option if you don’t want to sell your kidney, but it’s definitely not a pleasant experience. You will not find a place to sit if you decide to travel during a busy time and a hour long journey standing up while holding onto a suitcase is not ideal.

Elizabeth Line is a slightly better option, it has AC, is faster and less crowded if you decide to head for the airport. Its main issue is infrequent services and the price tag for a 15 minute difference.

Heathrow Express is a perfect example of a ridiculously overpriced train that takes you to the most inconvenient train station, Paddington. Paddington is not easy to get to and front and is a far cry from being central. I would avoid this option if I were you.
